2012 Corrections Directions Newsletters

The Corrections Directions Newsletter is the information sharing newsletter of the Association of State Correctional Administrators.  The following are the newsletters published during 2012:

• February/March 2012 Corrections Directions Newsletter - The February/March 2012 Corrections Directions features a recap of the 2012 ASCA winter committees and business meetings.
• April/May 2012 Corrections Directions Newsletter - The April/May 2012 Corrections Directions features a message from President A.T. Wall about the annual National Correctional Officers and Employees Week, an announcements of NIC Director Morris Thigpen's retirement.
• Summer 2012 Corrections Directions Newsletter - The Summer 2012 Corrections Directions features an article highlighting ongoing efforts by ASCA member agencies to fight the proliferation of illegal cell phones in prisons.  President Wall's message from the President focuses on ASCA's response to the Prison Rape Elimination Act since it was first considered in the 2002 Legislative Session.
• Fall 2012 Corrections Directions Newsletter - The Fall edition of the Corrections Directions features a recap of the 2012 Summer Committee meetings and Business Meeting held in Denver, CO.
• Winter 2012 Corrections Directions Newsletter - The Winter edition of the Corrections Directions features include the 2012 Susan M. Hunter Scholarship information and a review of the 2012 Special Issues Seminar and All Directors Training.
