Name and Mission of the New Committee

With approval from ASCA President A.T. Wall, the new name of this Committee will be "Information Sharing Committee."  It will retain its current Chairmanship and membership.

Mission (Draft)

The Information Sharing Committee serves ASCA members need for networking by promoting increased information sharing among all its agencies. It’s specific goals are to expedite dissemination of current and relevant correctional information regularly among members, and particularly via asca.net; and to participate in the corrections work of federal information sharing grants/projects and associations that can contribute to ASCA's agenda to promote professionalism in corrections.

  • ASCA Annual June Critical Issues Survey
  • FBI N-DEx Project Update            
  • BJA Law Enforcement Information Sharing (K068)         
  • Reentry Justice Information Sharing System (KO14)      
  • Search Corrections and Healthcare Information Sharing               
  • Global Advisory Committee       
  • Global National Criminal Intelligence Sharing    
  • JTTAC Justice Training and Technical Assistance Committee     
  • IJIS Corrections Committee        
  • Criminal Intelligence Coordinating Council         
  • National Counter Terrorism Center (ITAG)        
  • IJIS, APPA, ASCA Improving Agency Information Sharing

As the Committee grows and develops a more definitive repertoire of projects, some will be deleted and others will be added.
