Colorado DOC is working with the State Department of Revenue (DOR)to provide a State identification card to every offender released from prison. We are exploring possibilities of DOR utlizing the DOC offender digital photograph on the DOR issued identification card. My question is, have any states successfully moved in this directtion to the extent that the DOC offender photograph is used to produce a DOR identification card?

Colorado DOC: Executive Director Tom Clements has approved the following request: Colorado DOC Director of Human Resources requests that a survey be put out through the ASCA about Functional Capacity Testing. If approved, the survey questions would be as follows: Does your state give a physical performance test to potential Correctional Officers? If so, does your state give this test before or after a job offer is made? Does your state give existing Correctional Officers a physical fitness or performance test? How are the test results evaluated? He is looking to survey all representatives of 50 states to see if they use a "functional capacity test" before hiring new correctional officers.
