2010 - 2012 ASCA Officers

ASCA President Pat Caruso (MI) announced her retirement as Director of the Michigan Department of Corrections effective December 31, 2010.  The Executive Committee met in December 2010 to discuss the succession of Officers process.  Per ASCA's Constitution, Vice-President A.T. Wall (RI) would assume the Presidency on January 1, 2011 to complete Pat Caruso's unexpired term which would have ended in August 2012.  A.T.Wall (RI) asked the Committee for their approval to install Treasurer Chris Epps (MS) to complete his unexpired term as Vice-President when it would become vacant on January 1, 2011.  The Committee unanimously approved A.T. Wall's motion.  A.T. Wall then indicated he would ask the Nominating Committee to recommend to the Executive Committee a member to serve as Treasurer, filling the vacancy created by Chris Epps (MS) having become Vice President on January 1, 2011.
